Open studio
Mondays between 12-15 I hold an open studio.
Here you will get the opportunity to take a look through paintings,
take paintings home and try them. And ask questions if needed.
Looking forward to seeing you!

About me
My name is Samreen Mohsin, and I paint from a place where words become too small. From the spaces between memory and feeling, where silence gathers its own weight, and meaning settles quietly over time.
There is a language that exists beyond language, in color, in texture, in the slow movement of a brush across canvas. I begin there. Not with answers, but with what remains. What lingers softly. What aches without asking to be resolved.
My work carries traces of what it means to be human, fragile, layered, and always in motion between holding on and letting go. I do not try to resolve these things on the canvas. I let them stay as they are, unpolished and honest, like fragments of something once deeply felt.
Each painting becomes a quiet surrender. A conversation between what I carry within me and what I cannot fully understand, yet still recognize. Sometimes tender, sometimes restless, always shaped by something real beneath the surface.
I do not paint to explain life. I paint to stay close to it, as it passes, as it returns, as it quietly remembers itself through me.
