My name is Samreen and I am a woman with a strong passion for art in
general and painting in particular. I was born in the Punjab province of Pakistan and took my bachelor's degree in Fine Arts and Psychology from Punjab University Lahore.

Being a daughter of a farmer, I grew up in a very relaxed environment close to nature and far away from the hustle and bustle of a city. I am completely obsessed with painting, and it helps me to get a deeper connection with life. I think about art, dream about it, and want to do it all day long. My work with art keeps me sane in our contemporary world of high-tech, a very fast pace, and at times a lack of depth and purpose. 

Working in my studio alone is where I connect with my deeper self through the mediums of music and contemplation in the process of painting. I have spent a lifetime with the art not only as a painter but also with a deep interest in architecture and design.
